My idea with this project was to realize what a bureaucratic like hell/purgatory in a comedic way.
It starts with a normal supposedly relatable person in their house going about their day until they end up falling down a flight of stairs and falling into another place.
The demon guy in this place is meant to represent the ineffective monotony of systematic bureaucracy.
He proceeds to not care about the characters real name and pushes the character along the designated path of process. Nearing the final scene of the video, now wishing I had made it longer with a much better punchline, the people in line are laughing at the characters confusion and search for answers.
This was meant to signify a young persons struggle with current society in the fact that most adult things aren't directly taught and instead experienced through trial by fire. Now looking back at it, I wish I added more to the end. I think I would have alluded to the never ending struggle by having the character be denied at window A for something they couldn't avoid or anticipate and have them stuck at the rear of the line getting laughed at again. Having the cycle start again somewhat like the scene in hitchhikers guide to the galaxy where the main protagonists are trying to free their friend from the evil bureaucratic aliens.
